MEET THE ARTIST

Hi, I’m Amanda Villa, an artist based in East Texas.

Born and raised in Australia, my work reflects a blend of coastal influence and a life built in Texas.

My work focuses on women and the contrast they carry—strength and softness, independence and restraint—through a modern, minimal style grounded in movement and layered texture.

What Inspires Me

My work is driven by the contrast I see in women—wild and grounded, soft and strong, steady and untamed. I’m drawn to those in-between moments where confidence isn’t loud, but it’s undeniable.

Growing up in Australia shaped a lot of that perspective.

There’s a rawness to it—the coast, the dust, the wind, the water—that stays with you.

That influence shows up in my work through texture and movement. Layers that feel worn, like sand over time. Surfaces that carry a sense of history, like something shaped by the elements.

I’m inspired by real moments, real energy, and the stories women carry without always saying a word.

The work isn’t about perfection—it’s about feeling.
